4 Methods to Ease Chapped Hands By Vinyl Gloves

Chafing is a great deal of problem for sufferers. Fortunately, it is not a big problem, as a matter of scale. There are in fact, ways to curb the irritation.
1. Wear gloves or mittens outside
This is especially true during winter. Dry skins will increase the likelihood of having a chafed body part.
2. Dress your hands for work
Wear vinyl gloves as much as possible (or whenever) especially when washing dishes, doing some scrubbing work, or exposing hands to chemical and cleansers. Vinyl material is better than rubber because they do not cause allergic reactions. Cotton liners are an added bonus which can further irritate chapped skin. Wearing cotton gloves when doing "dry" work like sweeping or mopping the floor will help prevent the problem also.
3. Protect against sunlight
Sun ultra violet rays are known to be harmful. But for chafing? This is because the 'UV' rays are capable of damaging the skin and worsen the dryness and chapping. At the very least, wear a 15 'SPF' (sun protection factor) sun block when going outside. Wearing a sun screen or sun block can also slow down the aging process and reduces wrinkles.
4. Smear on the petrolatum
Petrolatum, or petroleum jelly is the most effective for treating chapped skin. One way to get results without getting the petrolatum all over everything is to rub it at night. This should be done before going to bed. Cover your hands with a pair of vinyl gloves. Consider this solution when reading newspaper or watching television. One week usage of this solution will result in a soft skin.
