How to Use Plastic Gloves Cryntel Tile in a Bathroom

Medical gloves provide barrier protection against harmful particles. Latex gloves are still the most popular because they are made out of poly vinyl chloride providing flexibility, comfort and fit. Nitrile gloves  contain no latex proteins and are great against tearing and puncturing. Vinyl gloves has good resistance against liquids.Plastic Gloves are only to be used one time only. You cannot auto-clave medical gloves.

Cryntel produces vinyl tiling that mixes marble fragments with polymers to form natural looking stone flooring. The trademarked PolyStone construction gives the tile a flexible, lightweight and durable surface suitable for interior floors. The tiles install on wood and concrete floor constructions, as well as over formerly applied vinyl flooring. Using Cryntel tiles on a bathroom floor consists of a preparation and installation procedure to produce the effective tile adhesion necessary for a bathroom environment.
Instructions
1. Clean the bathroom subfloor of dust, dirt and mold using non-solvent cleaning products. Apply a latex patching compound to the bathroom subfloor if the level is off by more than 1/16-inch per 1-foot of radius. Allow the subfloor to dry completely.
2. Brush a latex floor primer on the bathroom subfloor if the floor construction is porous, using a paintbrush. Allow the primer to dry.
3. Place the tiling and adhesive in the bathroom for 48 hours before installation in order to adjust to the ambient temperature. Ensure that the bathroom temperature is between 65 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit for effective adhesion, as recommended by Cryntel.
4. Snap a chalk line across the center of the bathroom floor from wall to wall. Find the halfway point of the chalk line using a measuring tape and snap another chalk line centered and perpendicular to the first so that you have a cross on the floor. Place tiles along the chalk lines to ensure that at least half a tile will install at the wall edges.
5. Spread Millennium tile adhesive onto the subfloor at a rate of 100 to 125 square feet per 1/2 gallon of adhesive, using a 1/32-inch-by-1/16-inch-by-1/32-inch U-notched trowel. Use the chalk lines as a guide to applying the adhesive. Wait until the adhesive surface is tacky to the touch and a clear color.
6. Line up a tile to the chalk line adhesive edge. Present the tile at an acute angle to the adhesive surface and press the tile down. Install the tiles in lines with the tile edges abutting in order to reduce installation time and grouting.
7. Cut tiles to fit around curved objects, such as the toilet and sink, by scoring the tile surface with a utility knife and using a coping saw to cut out the shape required. Cut a tile that requires a straight cut by scoring the surface with a utility knife and snapping the tile along the scored line.
8. Use a steel three-section 100-lb. roller to firmly press the tiles into the adhesive within one hour of installation. Move the roller diagonally across the tiles. Use a hand-held three-section seam roller to press down along the edges of each tile.
9. Remove any adhesive from the tile surface using a cloth dampened with mineral spirits. Apply a thin line of premixed PolyStone grout in between the tile joints to complete the bathroom floor. Allow the grout to cure for five hours before walking on the flooring.
Tips & Warnings
Using Millenium adhesive and PolyStone grout validates the Cryntel tile warranty.
Wear Plastic Gloves and a respirator when installing tiled flooring to avoid chemicals from the adhesive and grout.
